Bangladesh Economics Olympiad 2026 held in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI, Jan 10, 2026 (BSS)- Rajshahi Regional Round of Bangladesh Economics Olympiad 2026 was held here today aimed at fostering economic intellect and financial literacy among young students.
More than 400 students from different educational institutions in Rajshahi division joined the event held at Kazi Nazrul Islam auditorium at Rajshahi University (RU).
Boosting financial literacy, economic thinking, and business problem-solving skills among high school, college, and university students was the prime objective of the event.
RU Vice-chancellor (VC) Professor Saleh Hassan Naqib attended the opening and prize-giving ceremonies as the chief guest while Pro-VC Prof Farid Uddin Khan was in the chair.
Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pubali Bank Mansurul Haque, President of Bangladesh Economics Olympiad (BDEO) Al Amin Parvej, Prof ANK Noman from the Department of Economics at RU and Economist Bayazid Sarker also spoke at the event.
After scrutiny, the winners were given prizes in three categories.
As a whole, the event created a platform for showcasing academic intellect and fostering a community of young economic enthusiasts.
