Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal, and Chhatra Dal announced a new initiative today to involve young people in their ongoing movement to restore democracy.

The three organisations will jointly organise two-day seminars and rallies across four divisions in May, they said at a press conference held at the BNP’s central office in Nayapaltan.

“Our goal is not merely to undertake a political initiative, but to work towards establishing a development and production-oriented, people-friendly system of governance where young people are not just voters, but future policymakers, thoughtful partners, and builders of a fair state structure,” Jubo Dal President Abdul Monayem Munna said, reading from a written statement.

Each region will host a two-day event.

The first day will feature a seminar titled “Youth’s Vision for the Future and the Future of Bangladesh”, where issues such as employment, education, healthcare, agriculture, environment, urban life, technology, and political rights will be discussed.

Munna added that the discussions will be guided by the BNP’s 31-point outline and the political directives of Tarique Rahman.

The second day will feature a rally under the theme “Establishing Youth’s Political Rights”.

“Our dream is to build a Bangladesh where people can freely express their aspirations and live in a society founded on fairness and justice,” Munna said.

The programme will commence in Chattogram with the seminar on May 9, followed by the rally on May10.

Subsequent events will be held in Khulna on May 16–17 , and in Bogura (covering Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions) on May 23–24 . The final programme will take place in Dhaka on May 27–28, involving youth participants from Dhaka, Faridpur, Sylhet, and Mymensingh divisions.

Swechchhasebak Dal President SM Zilani, General Secretary Rajib Ahsan, Jubo Dal General Secretary Nurul Islam Nayan, Chhatra Dal President Rakibul Islam, and General Secretary Nasir Uddin were also present at the press conference.
