The National Consensus Commission today held a meeting with Gano Sanghati Andolon to discuss the reform proposals and recommendations made by the five reform commissions.
The meeting began at around 10am today (27 April) at the LD Hall of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.
Consensus Commission Vice-Chairman Professor Ali Riaz presided over the meeting. Commission members Justice Md. Emdadul Haque, Badiul Alam Majumder, Dr. Iftekharuzzaman, Safar Raj Hossain and Special Assistant to the chief adviser (Consensus) Monir Haider were also present in the meeting.
On behalf of Gano Sanghati, its Chief Coordinator Jonayed Saki, Executive Coordinator Abul Hasan Rubel, Political Council Leaders – Dewan Abdur Rashid Nilu and Monir Uddin Pappu, Editorial Board Members – Bachchu Bhuiyan, Julhasnain Babu, Deepak Roy and Tariqul Sujan were present at the meeting.

The commission is going to hold a dialogue with the National Socialist Party (JSD) after concluding discussions with the Mass Solidarity Movement this morning.
