Rizwana Hasan underscored the need for taking joint efforts in combating the adverse effects of climate change as both Bangladesh and Nepal are highly vulnerable to climate change.

She expressed Bangladesh’s readiness to work closely with Nepal on various environmental initiatives, including reforestation, water conservation, and eco-friendly development projects.

Bhandari invited the environment adviser to visit Nepal.

Both parties agreed to enhance bilateral relations through environmental diplomacy and explore future collaborative projects aimed at promoting sustainable development and resilience in the region.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to strengthening ties between Bangladesh and Nepal in addressing shared environmental challenges.
