BEZA inks land lease agreement with Delta Life Science PLC

DHAKA, Sept 17, 2025 (BSS) – Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) today inked a land lease agreement with Delta Life Science PLC for allocating 30 acres of land in the National Special Economic Zone (NSEZ).

In presence of BEZA Executive Chairman Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun, BEZA Executive Member (Investment Promotion) Saleh Ahmed and Managing Director of the Delta Life Science PLC Dr Md Zakir Hossain inked the agreement on behalf of their respective sides at the BEZA conference room in the city.

Congratulating the investor, Ashik Chowdhury said that the company is well-known in its respective sector and is developing business with reputation in the country and international arena.

Therefore, linking up such investors with BEZA will lead to increased investment in the economic zone as well as diversification of products, he added.

Delta Life Science, a subsidiary of Delta Pharma Limited, plans to establish internationally compliant modern production facilities in the emerging pharmaceutical industry of Bangladesh through advanced technology and innovative initiatives.

This will ensure supply to both domestic and international markets and contribute to the national economy and healthcare sector.

In the NSEZ, the company will focus on producing specialized medicines to meet the growing domestic and global demand. The company will invest approximately US$ 30 million and create around 700 direct jobs.
