Humayun Kabir, a member of the Advisory Council to the Acting Chairman, Tarique Rahman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), has been appointed as the BNP’s Joint Secretary General (International Affairs). The announcement has been formally made to inform all concerned.

“Humayun Kabir has been made the BNP’s Joint Secretary General (International Affairs),” said a press release issued by Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Senior Joint Secretary General of the BNP today (22 October).

Earlier, on 15 June  2024, the party reshuffled several key posts, including promoting its then Joint Secretaries general — Barrister Mahbub Uddin Khokon, Mojibur Rahman Sarwar, Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal and Lion Aslam Chowdhury — to the Chairperson’s Advisory Council.
