Tarique Rahman to return home by mid-Nov, hopes Annie

BNP Joint Secretary General Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie today (25 October) hoped that the party’s Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman will return home soon, possibly by end of October or mid-November.

“Tarique Rahman is coming back home soon and will take part in the upcoming national elections,” he said at a meeting in Lakshmipur.

Annie took part in several courtyard meetings of the Mohila Dal in Hajirpara and Chandraganj unions in the district.

He urged the party activists to stay united and work with faith and integrity, saying that the BNP is a people-oriented party founded by Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman.

He recalled the contributions of Ziaur Rahman and Khaleda Zia to the country’s politics and development.

District BNP leader Advocate Hafizur Rahman, Chandraganj thana BNP General Secretary M. 

Yusuf Bhuiyan, district unit of Sramik Dal leader Abul Hashem, district Mohila Dal President Sabera Anwar and general secretary Fatema Akhter Sumi, were present, among others.
