Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has termed the Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025, concluded here today drawing a huge number of foreign investors alongside local ones, a ‘milestone’ in the country’s socio-economic advancement, reports BSS.

“I’ve listened to the speech of BIDA Executive Chairman for at least three times and I’m stunned by the speech that he has delivered before the foreign investors. He attracted global investors assuring them of gaining profit and availing business-friendly environment,” said, Executive Committee Member of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami MD Mobarak Hossain, at a press conference at Hotel Intercontinental this evening on the final day of the Summit.

Mobarak flanked by his other party men at the briefing said that his party has long been speaking about building a discrimination-free Bangladesh having an enriched economy.

He said that there was a stall of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami in the Summit where the stall keepers managed to attract many of the global investors there. “We think that a business-friendly environment has been developed in the country and I hope we’ve managed to convince the foreign investors to understand that,” he added.

The Jamaat leader further said that if such business friendly environment continues, then it would be possible to steer Bangladesh in the list of top 20 countries of the world. “Foreign investors will come to this country and there will be more new and big business sectors in the country,” he added.
